A self paced course developed to help you establish a consistent and well-grounded daily meditation practice.

This course is suitable for:

  • Those with previous mindfulness experience who want to get a good grounding in the basics of mindfulness (or Insight) meditation

  • Those who rely on guided meditations and want to learn to meditate independently

  • Those with no prior experience who want to learn sitting meditation

  • Those who want feedback from an experienced meditator and teacher


  • Learn at your own pace and in a time and location that suits you

  • Contact the teacher for support via email, text or voice notes

  • Start a meditation journal and receive feedback from our teacher on your practice

  • Interact with other students via comments sections and social media groups (optional)

  • Learn what mindfulness is and isn't

  • Learn about the proven benefits of mindfulness

  • Learn how to establish a comfortable posture for your body and find good alignment

  • Learn how to make meditation a habitual part of your day

  • Build a strong foundation and expand your practice week by week

  • Start slowly with 5 min meditations and build up to 20-30min sits

  • Learn to bring mindfulness to different aspects of your experience; breath, body, emotions and thinking

  • Learn to anticipate and deal with common difficulties and challenges

  • Continue your practice after the course





The course is divided into 6 modules which you can work through at your own pace. Each module has 1-2 hours of learning content including guided meditations, short videos covering key topics, articles, quizzes and reflective learning. You will be able to contact Ethan with any difficulties or questions.

Ethan Pollock

Ethan has been facilitating mindfulness groups and retreats for over a decade. He currently teaches mindfulness and Buddhism at the nationally acclaimed Sharpham Trust, and local meditation groups around the UK. He spent 5 years studying mindfulness with renowned Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and has extensive personal retreat experience. His teaching helps people touch more calm and ease in their everyday lives by bringing awareness and appreciation to simple daily activities, retreatants especially love his guided meditations!
