What do past retreatants say?
Brimpts Farm is nestled in the heart of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. It has been a Duchy of Cornwall tenant farm since 1307. It is still a working farm today, but their outbuildings have been converted into a beautiful & comfortable retreat spot.
Our nearest train station is Newton Abbot which is a direct train from London Paddington.
We will arrange a taxi pick up service on arrival day.
"It is impossible for any brochure to describe what a beautiful spot it is. We were quite overwhelmed.
Lovely staff and comfortable accommodation. Everything we needed and wanted". - Claire F

Lucy is a mindfulness and self-compassion teacher who has delivered over fifty retreats in the past few years.
Mindfulness and self-compassion practices helped her meet the challenges of working as a medical doctor for over a decade, and her passion is now to help others incorporate these practices into their lives.
She is part of a nationally acclaimed team delivering mindfulness for burnout retreats, and has been trained directly by the internationally renowned psychologists Chris Germer and Kristen Neff.
One of her retreatants shared ‘Lucy’s presence and compassion was transforming and her meditations were some of the most powerful & nourishing that I’ve experienced.’
Ethan has been facilitating mindfulness groups and retreats for over a decade. He currently also teaches mindfulness and Buddhism at the nationally acclaimed Sharpham Trust, and local meditation groups around the UK.
He was one of the founding members of Wake Up London, a still thriving community of young meditators (aged 18-35). He spent five years training at Plum Village with the internationally recognised mindfulness teacher & Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. The balance of work and meditation in the monastery led to a deeply integrated practice; he still treasures the insights of joy, awakening and community life.
His teaching helps people touch more calm and ease in their everyday lives by bringing awareness and appreciation to simple daily activities, retreatants especially love his guided meditations!
"Lucy & Ethan communicate a warm and nurturing ethos – they were very wise and impressed me with their discernment, clarity, humanity and wisdom. "
"Lucy and Ethan were exceptional. Their calm and openness set a perfect tone for the group and our time together. I couldn’t have asked for more.
It’s hard to sum up how transformative the retreat has been for me."
"I loved the sense of community created by the participants and held by the awesome facilitators. So grateful to Lucy and Ethan for their generosity of spirit and humour."
"Ethan and Lucy were a joy!
