We are a non profit community organisation dedicated to sharing the art of mindful living in inspiring, creative, and practical ways.
We are passionate about hosting retreats, courses and events that offer opportunities for you to explore and experience the ways mindfulness can positively impact your life and help shape a more enlightened society. We believe mindfulness is not only an individual practice or set of tools to improve our wellbeing, but can also be a way of being that influences change on a structral and societal level.
Mindful Living started in 2013 as a programme of retreats at the now legendary Binley Farm, when Binley closed it's doors in 2015 we developed a series of 'wandering' retreats and courses, including retreats for those living with cancer and a retreat partnered with the project for Gross National Happiness.
Our practice of mindful living is delivered in an accessible secular way, but retains the full depth and power of a path leading to awakening. We feel passionate to meet each individual who comes to practice where they are at, and to help you find the way that works best for you. Whether you're just looking to relieve some stress or are searching for new meaning and direction!
Our teachers all are deeply engaged in their own practice so speak from a depth (and humility) of lived experience. Bringing elements of neuroscience, positive psychology together with ancient ways engaging the heart and mind; so what we offer is both relevant and powerful. This approach emphasises engaged mindfulness, we don't only practice to cultivate awareness for our own personal lives but in all areas of life including relationships, parenting, our worklife and social engagement.
Mindful living practices are simple, concrete and highly significant to individuals and groups from all walks of life, irrespective of religious faith.
Our retreats and events are suitable for beginners as well as advanced practitioners who wish to refresh and deepen their practice.
We are a network of practitioners, teachers and facilitators committed to practicing the art of mindful living. Our community network includes individuals from different backgrounds and walks of life. We are inspired to offer a variety of themes and approaches for exploring mindful living in an engaged and dynamic way, based on the passions and expertise of our facilitators. Our teachers are all deeply committed to living mindful and compassionate lives, they have all spent months or years in personal retreat and have extensive experience leading groups. We believe the best teachers are those who walk the talk.
